I have a brand new 4+ yrs old BRS 6 Stage Chloramines DELUXE RO/DI system - 75 GPD with a Dual DI w/ DM2. Just yesterday I opened the plastic wrapped on the unit. Complete brand new unit has been sitting in my laundry for all these yrs.

I getting back into the "reef" of things and like to start filtering water again. Are the brand new filters which came with the unit still good after all these years? Thanks.

BRS - I just got a response back from Chad from an earlier offline session.

From Chad -
"All of the filters should be good still, though the DI resin may need to be replaced soon depending on exposure to CO2. All of the other filters would still be fine to use. "

Based on this I will use as if new. DI resin is still in wrapping as going to assumed it has not been exposed to CO2 all thos years.

Feeling good to be back.

So I am filtering and I am getting around 800ml of waste water and 300ml of product water @ 50PSI. This a little more than 4/1 ratio I am used to in my older unit. Is this a concern?
