If you're transferring everything from the old tank to the new, you should be ok. Just keep an eye on your water quality and react accordingly. The biggest concern will probably be stress from moving livestock.
Agreed. I had to upgrade from 75 to 90 on the fly when I sprang a bad leak. Did what you're doing. I had my corals and small fish in small tanks (2x 10G and 1x 20G long) and about half the fish in a clean Brute. I utilized my live rock a heater and airstones. There they stayed for 2 (maybe 3) full days. I cut back feeding and prayed. Got em all through the fiasco. I feel for ya!

Haha, just wait. You will be amazed what pops up in your tank over time that you didn’t add. They hitchhike on live rock and coral frags, etc. and I swear some just float in the wind it seems like…
I've found that if I point my finger at the offending creature and yell NO! they move out. Until I see them again. Then I charge them rent. And yep! They come outta nowhere.
