Hello,

I've got a fairly established marco tank and just the other day I added in C. Mexicana, eucheuma sinosum and a shaving brush. The E. Sinosum and shaving brush appear to be doing okay but the C.Mexicana completely melted. The tank also have PomPom and C.Prolifera which have thrived over the last 8 months.

I did a short RODI dip on all three and wondering if that is what killed the C.Mexicana? While the fronds have melted the runners and roots appear to be fine so also wondering if there is a chance it will grow back?

I don't think caulerpa can really withstand freshwater dip, but anyway I would keep them in tank.
I'm more interested in how the eucheuma spinosm do, I tried twich but they all melted away pretty quickly. However my eucheuma isiforme is doing pretty good.
