Im getting ready to add my first fishes to my system, I would like to add a bonded pair of clowns but I need some help making a decision.

Picasso Percs-Love love love them but they arent cheap--Grade A Pair 200

Oreo--Cool looking fishes and arent that common in my area--80 pair

Goldstriped Maroons--They get to be an awesome size--60 pair

DO NOT DO MAROON CLOWNS
They grow up mean as hell, and love to rearrange tanks.
And every single one at the store bites me everytime i put in my hand. (only maroons seem to do this)
I would go with the "oreos" just for the sake of the cost.

Imma have to 'gree on the Picassos. I'm on ORA's wait-list for the Grade A's right now for my new tank as well.

I love Maroons, such beautiful color variations, but as some others have said: too big, too mean. If they're going into a larger tank with other aggressive fish, I might try it. The biggest problem is that you'd probably want to add them towards the end, instead of being the very first fish in. Their aggression could be on the level that you would never get to add any more fish.

i have a maroon and gold and he's afraid of his own shadow... ha just think it's too big of a generalization however i would go with the picassos over the gold and maroon

I must be getting lucky with my maroon in my 90gal... prolly the nicest fish I got in there, but again i dont have much either, got 3 scissor tails, 2 3 striped damsels, and a tiger gobie. Maroon keps to himself unless one of the damsels comes to close to "his" rock/cave i dont have an anemone for him. he is pretty big4 almost 5 incher

igot2gats, Occis are on the list...For some reason, they're being called Oreos...lol. I've a maited pair of Black Occellaris hosting in a RBTA. They're 2 of my favorites. However a word of warning....She's MEAN!!! When I say mean...I mean she's MEAN!!! She's drawn blood on my girlfriend 3 times!! Now my gf won't put her hand in that tank...lol. If my had is in the water, she hits it immediately. So far, she hasn't broke the skin on me, but she has hit me pretty hard a few times.
