Clam help!

Ok, so we were with out lights for a little while, got them ordered and installed... our clam hasn't been to happy the past two days. One side of our lights burnt out so we moved him to the other side hoping the light there would be good for him, however he didn't like the flow very much he's stayed very closed up. I moved him back to his orriginal spot and he opened up a bit, but now he seems to be detaching him self from his rock... what do we do?? any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Thank you! Adam and Chelsie

From what you are saying the clam went through it should be fairly stressed. Detaching from the rock isn't a real big deal just means the clam wants to move. They can take a lot of flow, as long as the mantle isn't unnaturally curled to the point that the clam can't right itself then it should be fine.

Gimme a call, 460-1644 maybe I could come look at your tank tomorrow?

Hello! Just came across this forum.

I'm in Kirkland (near Seattle) and while I've been keeping an 'okay' 45G saltwater tank for a year and a half, I decided to step it up a bit and switched to a 125g with MH, Apex controller, sump, the full deal. Looking forward to meeting you all! I've got a lot of tank I need to fill =p.
