This probably isn't helping but I would post this over on Humble Fish website if you haven't yet and they might be able to help out in order to get more answers faster.

Was he this thin when you got him?
I feel like he has put weight on. I fed a half a clam once or twice a week and made a paste and would apply that to the feeding rock and freeze overnight. He liked everything, but really went after the PE Mysis.

I cant offer much, but as for foods, my copperband really started eating better when I tried frozen blood worms and frozen anglefish food. I feed the tank a mix of one or the other alternating along with some rods original and frozen mysis or brine. The blood Worms really got its attentio and the angelfish/butterfly food has a mix of sponge and stuff they eat. Mine never was interested in clams or several other foods I tried.
Good luck!

I am using a Hannah Marine Systems unit. All my other fish are acting normal. Eyes seem normal, but it does not have a feeding response.. which makes we wonder if it can even see it. I do not think it is Ammonia or Nitrate.. I would see changes in my coral and shrimp and other fish.
coral and shrimp, no but other fish yes.

Are bio-balls the only means of bacteria you are utilizing?

That is the QT, he just went into it today. Brand new water, I placed the bio media in, there is a HOB filter with carbon. I will do a water change each day.

In my DT, I have BB, Marine Pure blocks and a ton of LR. The DT has been established for a long time.
