Well, since I don't want to forget, I'm going to post my update now:

What size is your tank? - 54 Gallon DT (RedSea reefer 250)


· Sump – yes or no? - Yes

· Refugium - yes or no? - No (but just installed a macro reactor)

· Lighting? T5, LED, Metal Halide, or what type of hybrid - Nanobox LED/ATI Hybrid

· Skimmer – yes or no? - Yes

· Water changes – yes or no? how often? - Yes, every week or two

· How many fish do you have? - 12

· Do you specifically feed your coral? No, but I broadcast feed LRS Reef Frenzy and Mike's Phytoplankton

Sump - Trigger Systems Ruby Red 36
Refugium- Yes with Chaeto and just rock rubble
Lighting - 100% LED 48" reef breeder photon v2
Skimmer - yes
Water changes - usually every other week
7 fish
I feed LPS pellets to the tank along with Reef Roids for the corals

40 gallon deep blue frag tank with an eshoppes sump(approx 20 gallon) and 29 gallon refugium with rubble and flame algae

Aquatic Life 6 bulb T5 set for 10 hours (1 actinic and 1 blue plus 10a-8p, 1 blue plus, 2 coral plus, and 1 purple plus 12p-6p)

I do run a skimmer, skimz with CO2 scrubber media on the air intake

Water changes 25% once a month now that my cyano is in check

I have 3 fish (2 tangs and a 6 line wrasse) in the tank and a dozen snails

I feed agcore powder 3x a week or so

  • 3 polyps to start(I must've gotten one of someone else's polyps haha)

1. Tank size:
Red Sea max 250 - 54 gallon display

2. Sump: yes, technically. 11 gallon in the back

3. Refugium: No

4. Lighting: 6 bulb T5- 3 blue+, 1 aqua blue special, 1 purple+, 1 true actinic

5. Skimmer: yes

6. Water changes: once every 1-2 weeks

7. Fish: 8- 2 clowns, 4 banggai cardinals, melanurus wrasse, diamond goby

8. Feed coral: I feed mysis to the lps on occasion
