Generic names "Green Wrasse" and "Yellow Wrasse". Can these be kept together and if so what is the difference between these wrasses?

LA says the Green Wrasse grows to 8". At this size will it cause problems in my reef such as bothering corals or eating other fish?

H. chloropterus is much more likely to go after cuc and other motile inverts, as well as having a "bossier" disposition and a propensity for flipping small rocks and frags. I personally find it to be much less desirable than H. chrysus.

Thanks for your insight, just the info I was looking for. What are your thoughts on keeping multiple H. chrysus?

If acquired as juveniles they will coexist, but I would consider keeping a variety of smaller Halichoeres species together as most of these species will transition to male regardless of being kept with conspecifics.

Thanks again for your help. My goal is to add a group of wrasses to my aquarium, probably three or four. I'll put a list together.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
