LCMSMS screening provides much more information about the organic matter. It screens for a multitude of common contaminants found in even the most purified water sources. Things like caffeine, pesticides, hormones, personal care products, pharmaceuticals, phthalates, and endocrine disrupting compounds are very persistent and most difficult to remove.
