We also had a pretty good aftershock at 6:00PM. What surprised me was how long it lasted. Most earthquakes we get in NJ are small and rarely felt. It was the Ramapo fault that let loose. From Wikipedia:

Yeah, I felt that aftershock in Albany, NY. Pretty scary, huh? Isn't that the fault that has been quiet for a few 100 million years?

Edit: Never mind... LOL! I was thinking of the wrong one.

Man, I am missing out on all the fun. I am 0 for 2 today. Just South of Utica 20 miles, and I swear I did not feel anything either time. My wife was another 20 miles South, and said she didn't feel anything either. Supposedly we sit on top of some water filled caverns, so maybe that is absorbing the shocks? That would be interesting... built in earthquake absorber? I don't know enough about geology to have a clue.
