Pink Cadillac and The Thing survived the night! Hairy Mushroom has no change.

Are the Slimeball and The Thing, similar in looks once they grow out? Do you prefer one for a particular reason?
Not even close. Slimeball is similar to a Spongodes except it branches and rarely encrusts. Fatter branches, paddles instead of tips. The Thing is thinner branches more yellowish skin. Both have purple polyps but the Slimeball polyps almost look brown because they're so dark.

Thank you. Can’t wait to see them thrive in your new build!

I think we can make that happen.
Did you get a Spongodes? Most people that think they have Spongodes end up actually having Slimeballs. I think Jason's might be a Spongodes though?

2 days in and everything is still looking good except the mushroom isn't declining or improving. Everything is bright green still - hoping the Pink Cadillac starts pulling some color soon. I wanna see those Pinks and Blues!

What did you use to attach your monti cap?
Gel Super glue, that's why it looks ugly. Eventually it'll encrust over the glob and won't be noticable.
