Hello
I am writing to ask for some info about my new euphyllia. It is the first time I get one and I have it now for a couple of days. I have a juwel Rio 240liters aquarium with the recommended led lights for a reef tank(white 14000K 21W and actinic blue 21W). I know it is said that these are weak lights with low par for corals, but I got my bubble tip and palys long time ago and they seem to do fine and growing. That's why I decided to test some more needy corals.
Calcium 410
KH 9
nitrates and phosphates close to 0(but not 0)
Magnesium 1280.
25C temperature
3 powerheads
The euphyllia seems to be in the same condition as when it was in the LFS 's tank but I have just noticed some black spots on the tips, at the place where fluorescent yellow colour should be. I don't remember if it was exactly like this when I got it, but I would like to know whether this is an indication of bad lighting or something else. I can put it higher or lower but for now it is in the middle of the tank.
The tank is cycled 2 months ago so there are some initial problems with hairy algae and green glass that I hope I will overcome at some point. So any info on the euphyllia's state would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
