Maricultured SPS, and your leaving them attached to the rocks they came in on? Yikes..I would cut them at the base. That's one of the easiest ways to get unwanted hitch hikers. Like AEFW. Wanna ask me how I know that? Lol

yes for the smaller frags i cut but the bigger ones were encrusting the whole rock so I left it on there.

Rollin the dice. No amount of encrusted maricultured acro is worth getting AEFW or red bugs or any of the other million different hitch hikers that exist. When you cut the acro off the rock, A) it's easier to dip and B) it's easier to spot hitch hikers.

Awesome Tank!!! I love that you can look into the work room!!
Reef cartel I have a question.
I have 100 gallon reef tank with similar filtration as yours And I want to jump into a Full ZEOvit system,is it as complicated as people make it sound?have you seen amazing coral growth and color? The reason why I'm skeptical and doing this is because I've only been in this hobby for a year I don't know if I'm jumping into something too quick.

Honestly, I think its better to jump into it completely new and learn how to do it one way first. You WILL run into up and downs for sure lol. It takes twice as long for ZEO than what the instructions say. It actually took over a year for things to become stable and establish a system. Yes im finally starting to see the difference in the corals but lots of trail and error. lol
