A few new pics :) after taking 50+ I realised I wasn't gona get a good one anytime soon. Hopefully these are good enough!
He's eating like a champ. Finally got him to eat some of my DIY fish food, but he struggles a bot exhaust of the size. I'll stick with the coral food and rotifers for now.

He's taken to flake food, nori and the smallest pieces of mysis :)
He hasn't grown any noticeable amount or coloured up any more though. He's quite an aggressive eater and I think if he grows to a decent size he will be a very aggressive fish.
Nothing else to report just yet though.

Little guy didn't make it. He seemed happy and healthy last night when I fed everyone, but this morning he's nowhere to be found. No body, no remains or anything. It's possible he jumped out of the breeding net and is hiding in the rocks again, but I let him out accidentally once before and he seemed to prefer being in the open rather than hiding, which makes me think he's not in the rocks.
I'll have a better look tonight when I feed the tank, but I'm pretty sure he's a goner :(

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that...
Thanks, I had him for a little over a month and it was my first time trying to raise larval fish, so I think I did ok :)
I hope he pops up though, he was a cool little fish.

looked a lot like a baby engineer goby. It could be hiding because you scared it.
I think it was some kind of ocean fish. He looked like he was built for speed and would grow quite large. I'm hoping he's just hiding. But if he is, I have shrimp that can get very aggressive so they'll likely find him before I do unfortunately.
