To your point, agree that there are so many instances of attempted biological controls going awry, I would worry about it as well. Reminds me of cane toads in Australia, LOL. While i'm sure the scientists intentions are good, it smacks of such arrogance to think we can input a huge imbalance into an ecosystem, to correct another huge imbalance, and think we can totally predict the outcome of an ecosystem that has so many interactions. Seems like a huge leap of faith...
