Hi Guys,

I’m new to the Euphyllia and those former known as Euphyllia.

Can someone take a look at my flow rate? I use a Hygger mini wave maker have it set to random in the video below. Only using:

min power 40%
Random waves 80% of time
Other wave patters 20%

Does this dancing flow look OK for these 2 corals. Top is a torch, bottom is a hammer. I received both just 4 days ago, I think the hammer was damaged but it could also be cranky. I dipped & inspected and no visible pests.

Anyways, just looking to see if someone can tell me of the flow pattern look ok, too soft, too direct. I was told a “gentle dance” will do…they are waltzing to me…

Thanks!!

I dont think your video linked... but WWC just put out a video on flow for different corals. Really you just want a gentle sway on pretty much everything but Acropora.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
