As with everything reefing, I would start gradually and increase as the tank adjusts and the population of organisms that consume the phyto increase. This phyto is alive, so it is pretty hard to foul the water with it. In fact, it may lower your nutrients to some degree. I would probably start with about 5-10ml/day and gradually increase to about an ounce or more per day. Whatever amount you feed should be beneficial, and things will adjust as you increase the dosage. I dose about 2/3 of a gallon a week to my 125 with 55 sump. That is a lot, but I have plenty. Phyto is pretty much the base of the reef food chain. You should see an increase in pods and filter feeders as you start to dose. I also seem to have more stomatilla and other small snails when I dose more although I am not positive about the correlation. Some of your corals will likely improve too.

I harvest every Monday and ship out on Tuesday so that you can get the freshest phyto possible, and so that it won't get stuck at the post office over the weekend.

If you prefer, I could ship you a some tomorrow, but next week would be better if you're not in a rush...

I received my phyto today, I have to say it was really well packaged. Each container was in two plastic bags and the outer was heat sealed so there was no way it was going to leak and ruin the box in transport. Will order again.
