I have a Gem Tang which has been with me for 4 months now. On 7th April I noticed a small dark patch on one side which has since grew almost 3 times the size it was. Not sure what it can be especially in view that it is only on one side and fish feeds on nori very well.

In my tank I have had other tangs, yellow, blonde naso, purple, desjardini and a hippo, and aggression is the typical behavior between tangs.

I’m new to this forum, but would appreciate if you can enlighten me as to what this could possibly be.

The tank has been set up for 2.5years and parameters stable.

Thanks IMG_2179.jpeg IMG_2171.jpeg

Hard to see on my phone but appears to be bacterial and best treated in separate tank with seachem kanaplex which is easily absorbed internally and externally
