So based on this, I’d say mine is either an abro or aspera. Not the greatest pic but was sold to me as a green slimer

The Abro slimer may not be as vibrant as a genuine Green Slimer, but I like it equally as much. The polyps extension is so good. No matter what is going on with my tank, this thing is always happy.

These are pics from 2012 and 2013 for what we called green slimer back then

The pics are in the wrong order but you can see how it grew. It did not have orange growth tips

Yup totally agree on the Yongei I thought is was kinda weird that many called green stags "slimer" when to me they werent the slimer I grew to love.
Huh guess i am getting old as I am still in love with the oldie but goodie acros.

2x 250w phoenix 14k
and
2 x 54w t5 coral +
2 x 54w t5 blue +
And
36” blue led stunner strip

For any of these pics, I don’t remember what Iighting combination I had at that moment. I think I experimented and for photography used halide only and halide + led accent strip

Sold to me as a green highlighter, but does release a ton of slime when messed with.

Was the about a 2 inch piece 3 years ago.

I recently lucked out at the LFS and was allowed to purchase two broken off tips of acro yongei for $10. I’m stoked to have this old school Bali slimer in my tank. I haven’t seen one of these since I got back into reeding after a 12 year hiatus.
Here’s pics of my frags

And here’s the mother colony
