Hello,
After upgrading my return pump my hammer refuses to open. I have even put it somewhere else with barely any flow and it still won’t open…(yes I am 100% sure it’s because of the flow) All my other corals are loving the better flow…

On the picture I have drawn a circle where the hammer used to be. What could be another spot to put it?

And the spot the hammer used to be, would some torches like it there? I’ve heard torches enjoy flow a bit more then hammers.

I'd put it somewhere where it will get indirect flow, perhaps the other side of the arch or the front edge of the arch. Yes, torches generally like more flow so you can try placing a torch in the hammer's old spot. I'd recommend not permanently securing it to the rock until you're sure it's happy.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
