I have the Hanna nitrate HR and it been reading all sorts of stuff. For example just tested. First time read 8.4 and second time read 32.1. Tested at the same time right after. What do I do about this?

Nope, definitely counted down. Was sitting here watching and plus have done it multiple times like this. Been doing it for a month.

a was

I’ve used different box’s of reagent and different vials also.
Then you have two sources left. Bad device or user error :)

What are you using to measure your water volume? And how are you getting the reagent out of the wee pouch?

I think so too.. :) it's a hard one to do wrong, I do use an adjustable pipette for mine though to make sure amount of water is 100% accurate and consistent every time.

As for the powder, make sure you get it all out- every time.

If interested, this is the adjustable pipettes that I'm using for all my testing.

Probably not hanna approved, but the device relies on a clean led emitter and receiver. Might try cleaning with rodi and a qtip as a last resort.
