So I have a helio heater that keeps giving me an e5 error it’s about 2 weeks old it’s in a high flow area in my back chamber of my AIO. Can I put it in the main display will that help solve this issue?

I am having the same issue with mine - except mine is 7 months in the tank. I have cleaned it religiously, and moved it to other high flow areas and it is still giving me the same error. Am thinking it could be a faulty probe? It errors out about every 15 minutes or so. I have a 40g IM Novo Fusion Lagoon and my helio is 200w (one heater) system.

What is your set up?

@Innovative Marine - any suggestions?

Are you using both lines with your controller? I am not, so on a whim, I switched my element to the other line and so far have not had an error code.

I am just using the one line I’ll give that a try

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
