Probably 6 monthsSorry to hear this. I will try my best.

What foods are you feeding?
Does fish show interest in food during feeding?
Is fish breathing normal or labored?
Pull off with clams and mysis temporarily as clams may be hard to digest and mysis can cause excess mucus in the stomach lining. brine shrimp can act as a laxative once eating again.I feed him brine shrimp mysis shrimp clams algae pieces etc has not been eating much lately breathing heavily

Assure the following not elevated:
Ammonia
Nitrate
ph

Add aeration with air stone also. Water change would not be a bad gesture

Water changes reduce ammonia- Do noy use or rely on chemicals which simply lock it up temporarily to release it back into tank.It was prime should I go to my local fish store to get something for ammonia if so what do you recommend
I did a huge water change yesterday so I don’t know if it could still be water quality isssuesWater changes reduce ammonia- Do noy use or rely on chemicals which simply lock it up temporarily to release it back into tank.
I did disturb the sand and the glass was pretty dirty and I scrubbed all of that off too but I did the water change after I cleaned the glass and sandWhen you cleaned the tank, did you disturb a lot of the sand and is your sand deep ?

Disturbing a deep sand bed after being left untouched for more than 6-8 weeks can cause problems, even deaths in the tank.I did disturb the sand and the glass was pretty dirty and I scrubbed all of that off too but I did the water change after I cleaned the glass and sand
