I just got some corals I ordered online. A few of them look pretty pathetic. They were shipped overnight, but even still when I opened the box their water was very cold, and the heat pack with them was also cold.
The one im most concerned about is a Xenia I believe. See pictures>
it looks like its retracted but it's also covered in algae.

i would let the company know asap.. then keep an eye on them.. some corals recover pretty quickly - some don't (usually sps). I have had items come in at 60 degrees and make it (i was shocked)... so that may not be an issue.. if the water wasnt fouled.. you may be ok.

Would definitely let the company know your concerns. Especially if algae is present on plugs to me that is no excuse.
