I just wanted to share this shrimp molt as I thought it was kinda funny and cool at same time.

My cleaner shrimp molted an almost exact copy of himself and it has been stuck to the rocks for a fews days.

When I first saw it I thought it was the actual shrimp itself haha

It would always make me look twice when that happened. Even knowing better still creates that moment of despair. Then you look over to see the real shrimp.

This!!! Especially coral banded shrimp molts! And emerald crab molts always get me too

I also have a fire shrimp in this tank and he molted and it looks like someone was murdered its just a big puddle of red molt
