Hello! :)

I’ve only recently started my reef tank, so everything is still quite new to me. I did a ton of reading up before I started and that’s been really helpful.

i originally started with a Fluval evo marine (60 litres), but I swapped it out mid-cycle for a waterbox 25 peninsula (90 litres), and it took 6 weeks to cycle. Last week I put my first fish (2x clownfish), and first CUC ( 2 turbo snails, and 2 Halloween crabs) in and they seem to be doing well. I plan to use my Fluval evo either as a quarantine tank, or an emergency spare.

I do have a freshwater tank that I’m going to break down and sell, and then I plan to buy a waterbox marine x 60.2 and have a reef tank in my home office too.

I’m based in central Oxfordshire, so if you’re local please say hi!
