My evolution through tanks.. latest a RS Reefer S550

So today was the day my LFS loved me but my bank hated me.
Decided it’s time to go a little bigger and change my Redsea reefer 250 over to the DD pro 1200. I will be moving most parts of the reefer over in time.
As well as the tank I got an extra light, auto topoff, Clarissa filter roller and also box A of the eco reef.

Still more to get but excited… again.

Has anyone experience using the eco reef rock? Any good? How many boxes did you use?

You forget how annoying jump nets are to make… debating to have 2 lights or 3. Going to try 2 and see how it goes. (Other 2 are still in the reefer)

Upgraded the light to a reef factory reef flare pro large. Love the look and the quality of the light. Definitely recommend!

I honestly thought a protein skimmer is just a protein skimmer, until my bubble magus broke down and I decided to upgrade and spend a little more. Went for a Nyos 120 and wow, started skimming within a day and very quiet when tuned in!

Couple more changes, loving the reef factory products and how they all link to the one app. Changed over from the Inkbird to the thermo control and also the reef factory level keeper. Really pleased with both so far.
Also decided to swap out the Maxspect gyres for two mp40’s, much happier with the flow and control with these.

Anyone have any experience using the KH keeper plus?

Had a bit of a change about with the plumbing. Changed to a gate valve. Added the Clarisea roller that’s been sat in the box since I got the tank…….Also added a dd uv filter.

Looking good! How are you liking the RF thermo control? I have the thermo view and ph meter and will be adding the thermo control, doser and salinity guardian when I upgrade my tank. RF are great pieces of kit.
