I was picking up a rather large Hollywood stunner today. And in the process of it getting loaded into the container, it was broken into several pieces. My question is when I put this into my display tank, can I stack those pieces onto the large base? Or will that cause a problem?

These are often too delicate and often crumble. I spread mine amongst the tank and you know how fast they grow

If you mean set the fragments on top of the rest of the remaining colony, you can do so but it probably won't look great once they start growing together. It also doesn't really add much because your just killing the shaded portions under the frags.
