I have a long running 120 gallon reef aquarium that I need to pass on to someone else. I advertised it on Offer Up for $500, but not even a single question or offer. I need to get it gone and soon, painters and flooring people will be here in 2 weeks. At this point I don't even care if I get any money for it, I really just want the biome to survive.

Any Ideas? Are people just not interested in reef aquariums anymore?

Thanks,
-Matt

Mostly rock, starfish, serpent stars, some small soft corals.

If your looking to break it down quick, I’d take the whatever live stock you can get out and take it to your closest lfs to give them, or post up an ad On here.

the rocks can be kept in a trash can or buckets full of water. Ideally with some heat and flow to keep the bacteria alive.

You can also try Discount reef and aquarium in tempe, they deal in a lot of used gear they might have a taker for it or at least come get it.

I don’t have the funds to pay you anything, but if you need to offload it. I can come break the tank down and move the coral and livestock to my tank to keep it alive. And we will make use of the tank it self. I know it’s a long shot and not likely. But let me know if that becomes a option. Thank you
