Anyone got a clue. Did a google picture search and nothing. I have never seen it and it’s on some macro algae. Thinking some type of sea slug but not sure.

Was thinking maybe a fleshy limpet but it’s still in the same spot on the Halimeda macro algae. Last night was the first time I have noticed it.

But it is on the leafs of the Hamlimeda algae not the rocks. I tried getting a different angle for the picture you just cannot see it as well.
Never underestimate the tenacity of a sponge.

is that the underside?

Can you remove it from the tank?

that is the top of it. Will try and remove this afternoon when I get home from work. I know it wasn't there yesterday morning as I always check the tank in the mornings with a flashlight. It was still in the same place this morning.

Here is a little better picture I think. It’s too down and securely attached to the leaf of the Halimeda leaf. It’s hard like a rock almost as well. Pulled it out of the tank.
