Should have asked, how is the green with blue rim Cap doing? Is it bleaching also?

Mixing new salt water for water change tomorrow night....

So how is the cap doing? Some of my purple cap just did that, getting better now. For me it was an ALK issue, timer failed on the dosing pump.

Doesn't seem to be getting worse but definitely not getting better.
I moved him. Trying a new place in the tank.
Numbers still the same....
Wife n I took a 4 day weekend to Pittsburgh so I kinda neglected my aquarium duties. My dad was in charge of feeding...
And when he feeds.... 'they look hungry so I have then a snack' 3 - 4 times a day. Did water change on Monday to try and clean some of that up.
Hopefully he'll pull through.

On a different topic, I live in shermans dale pa, any interest in getting together sometime this fall? Thoughts - ideas ? This thread has kind of drifted so getting back to the original idea, introduce yourself and would you want to come to Shermans Dale?

I started in saltwater last year and only had FOWLR, i got out of the hobby for a little due to my first tank crashed on me and my second decided to drain itself while we were all sleeping (only snails and hermits survived along with one lucky damsel) both tanks were sump less. I just recently set up a new tank the around the 15th and its already cycled waiting for more livestock once i get a light for it.

Hello again everyone! I apologize for disappearing after starting the thread. I had some personal issues and welcomed a baby girl into the world. I am so excited to get caught up and to also meet more regional reefers. My tank is still going strong and evolving each day. If I have learned anything reefing it's that our tanks are dynamic and always evolving.

I look to be more active on here and would love to schedule some get togethers over the summer. I will update this post with some pictures shortly. The tanks and builds I have seen in the thread look great! I look forward to meeting everyone and as always happy reefing!
