Just got this Acan. It’s my first coral. Been in the tank for a week. Tia, not exactly sure what I should be looking for

They hungry! I feed mine reef roids and they love it. Normally they will be puffier, more colorful, and they're sweepers won't be out in the daylight. Here's one of mine i just got last weekend.

Actually these might be the same ones you have here. These were my first ones, they like diffused lighting (like close to total shade)

and some good varied flow

Very low light is the key to great coloring. I keep all of mine in very low light and the colors (particularly on new heads) are amazing.
