Some consistent themes
- Use of negative space
- Rule of thirds
- All imply an infinite depth (no black backgrounds)
- 3 levels of visual interest, from right up close to far off
- Mature corals, tightly packed edge to edge (no loose, "leggy" growth forms)
- Color consistency, not one of every color
- Different angles of view, not just straight on portrait
- Mostly small fish to portray large scale
- Water clarity matters (even though reefs are full of particulates)
