So I have my return pump Jabao 8000, I take it apart monthly and clean it, today it will not go back together, if I remove the impeller the cover goes back on, if I remove the o-ring the cover goes back on, if I put the o-ring back on the cover will not go on, the impeller is not swollen, it is a new pump, but I have done this task countless times,
So does the o-ring go in between the black impeller cover and the housing of the pump?
I know the pump cover has to go on a certain way, so this is what I am doing as well.
This is getting too frustrating for my own good.
Any help please, I do not want to watch 15 YT videos for 15 minutes each and listen to them talk about their cat.

^^ First thank you everyone for helping out,
To answer my own question. The O-ring does not go between the black impeller cover and the body of the pump.
The O-Ring goes over the black part on the pump it self, not between. I got it back together,.

Literally just had the same epiphany on the dcp20k I got. Was definitely a moment of frustration.
