its likely but still a guess using that method where the target is left in place. the only hedge/win is to hand remove it first by force, then treat the bare areas outside the tank as cleanup, that works massively. to dose the water sometimes works, and considering the sensitives often has no consequence for trying, it either works on target or not.

so I have been splitting up my dosing into 3 times- i.e. 4 ml at a time 3x a day- should I be dosing all at once?

It worked great for me for first few weeks but it all came back, my water parameters are spot on . I ended up going Mexican turbo snails and that seemed to do the trick

The lysmata is still likely loss in any dose, although many statements of them surviving 1:10 exist. We find less disappointment if they isolate the shrimp before dose

The peps have a better chance and the thors will likely survive the 1:12 going off prior posts on them

I've tried this 1ml per 10 gallons every 12 hours for 2 weeks and it did not affect my Blood Red Shrimp (Lysmata debelius) at all. It's been over 2 weeks since treatment and he is still alive. Seems this is a 50/50.
