Hey everyone!

I just moved to Baltimore a few days ago, I'm in town because I'm starting a biology PhD program next week! Anyone have recommendations for a good store selling fish/coral in or near Baltimore?

Thanks!!

here’s the ones I’ve gone to:

-House of Tropicals in Glen Burnie

-CTE aquatics in lutherville-timonium

-tropical lagoon in silver spring

they each have their pros and cons.

house of tropicals can be quirky at times due to their customer service which is hit or miss. they have a pretty large SW fish selection and two frag tanks which seem to rotate stock everytime I see them. have bought 2 rock flower anems from them, so far so good

CTE staff is very helpful and they have a decent selection of corals, but not as much as house of tropicals. they are only open select days (thurs-sunday). I like this LFS because it has a lot of reefer related products since that’s their specialty

lagoon ive been to once, its located downstairs in a strip of other stores. kinda small but selection was OK. nothing bad to say, bought dry rock from here only.
