I have a few questions if anyone knows the answer.
First is kalkwasser reactor worth it and is it better than dosing 2 parts ?

Is it really gonna give you a stable PH ?

And secondly what is the best kalkwasser reactor besides Avast .. because avast lid doesn’t have any screws to tighten it up I mean the lid.

The pH boost from kalk is certainly worth it. My pH never dips below 8.0 and usually averages 8.2. I run an Avast K1 and it's been great. It's a very low maintenance piece of equipment.

That being said you don't need a reactor. You could dose it straight from a 5g bucket if you wanted to.

Depends if you want to use it during lights out periods.

I don’t (never have) use any type of reactor/ stirrer. I use a reservoir of Kalk to dose from, it’s easy, cheap and effective.

8.3-8.5 pH but make sure your doser is good and you can constantly check alkalinity and ph much

Also clear the tube every once and a while cus mine clogged and flooded my cabinet

I made the jump from 2-part to Kalk a couple of months ago. My pH has been EXCELLENT. I run the kalk around the clock, but some choose to run it only when their pH is lower (usually at night) to balance it out.

I currently use one of the small 10 gallon Brute trash can for the kalk. I had planned on buying the Avast kalk stirrer to place in my sump with my upcoming build, but will probably wait on that because I'm trying to cut costs! The small reservoir is not a bad option at all if you have the space. And it's much less expensive :)

I would NOT however suggest mixing it with your ATO water.

I have used the 2 part solution and the constant dosing of mixed Kalc, with some vinegar to prevent precipitation. Both have worked well for me but I don't have any advice on the reactor approach.
