I'm using the Mag Sulfate and Chloride combo from BRS and my gallon batch has a yellowish tint to it.....is it good to use ? Can't recall seing the yellowish tint before but then again I haven't been dosing 2 part (3 part actually) for that long.

Thanks in advance

Anyone have any thoughts on why BRS sells their "2 part" Magnesium mix in the same 1 gallon size when the chloride part requires almost twice as much as the Sulfate to make a gallon of Mag mix ?? It seems like they would offer the Chloride in a 2 gallon jug but if memory serves they offer it in a 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon, and 5 gallon bucket which is the same as the Sulfate. I guess this question is better directed to BRS..... :)

I have had the yellowish tint to my diy mix. It cleared up in a day or to.
