I’m considering replumbing my aquarium to run reactors off of a manifold.

I’d seen this question before, but have yet to find a response. If I run my manifold off of the return pump, and the reactor returns at to the pump area of the sump, intent I retreating a large percent of the same water? Or is the retreated amount negligible?

I have an extra pump and could plumb it so that it sits in the skimmer chamber and then returns to the return area, is that significantly more efficient?

Tank is a WB 220.6, 185 gallon system volume.

Thanks.

Doug
