All loose corals will be dipped and placed in the frag tank. Rocks without aptasia and with coral will be dipped and blown off and added to the frag tank if not too large or heavy. The rest will go in the cans that have all new LR in and filtering. Can 2 gets LR w/o coral and aptasia as well as fish and inverts. Then 3 32g cans worth of tank water will be saved for the new tank and then the final break down.
All equipment will get a vinegar bath and lighting removed and added to new canopy. So, Friday night or Saturday morning the tanks will switch places and the 180 will be final plumbed, rock and sand added, water slowly added. Praying for no leaks!
Unlike most people though, the stand and canopy will be trimmed and finished after the tank is up and running. As far as the stand goes I wanted it wide open for easier set up. Lol, looks will come later
I'll take pics as I think to do them. No one is really helping with all this work and my house is a disaster zone lol
Fell a little behind. Breakdown begins tonight. The sump and final pumbing adjustments is taking a little longer than planned. My daughter is a pest! You would think this 17 yr old was 5 with the amount of "mom, I need...." she throws at me, sheeeesh!
Got the idea from you fellow reefer! Your tank looks great and as for me I love the theme so decided to do a smaller version of it!
This is my 10g nano [emoji1]
