So just discovered the slab of quartz cracked before the install time yesterday. Run to Spokane pick up new and start over. The slab was defective and cupped like a potato chip. Warranty claim. But customer is livid and it is a no win. Just an average day running your own business.

Actually the new slab cracked in the same place yesterday. Beside myself and don't know what to do. Putting in a call to Dupont for guidance. It appears to be a stress crack like it released pent up pressure in the slab. Very weird.
Is it likely they came from the same source rock? Could be a flaw in all of the peices that were cut from the same base
This is a man made product under high pressure and heat. Much stronger than natural stone and much more consistent. That is why it is my go to product. That and the ten year installed warranty through Dupont. It is the best product in the business. That is why I am stumped.
