Cold water aquariums have interested me for quite some time and especially my wife. So with excitement building and interest in these types of aquariums we thought it was about time for a specialized forum! So here it is!

I to am getting interested in a cold water tank...

A good lower-cost place to start might used Marineland lobster tanks from grocery stores or restaurants. Sometimes they throw them out.

They are pre-insulated for cold (so the glass won't get condensation), and have most of the stuff (incl chiller) built in.
