Hi everyone. I am new to this hobby and currently setting up a 75G aquarium. I am almost done with the fishless nitrogen cycle and hope to add fish to the tank this weekend. I know I am a long way from adding corals to the tank, but I am looking forward to becoming a part of the local reefing community

Hello.

As retirement closes in I plan on setting up 40 gallon or so cube reef tank. I have had aquariums, almost only fresh water, on and off for the better part of 60 years, from 5 gallons to 125 gallons. Lived in Florida for a time in the 70’s when I could collect my own fish and shrimp.

The tech in the hobby looks like fun. Probably won’t set up a tank for 9 months, but looks like there is a lot to learn.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
