The goal would be to keep Alk and Ca stable with a water change, but after doing a bit of research, it appears this Fritz Blue box should be pretty much right on the money. A few 10ths shouldn't hurt anything. It's margin of error is 8.1 to 8.5 and the goal is to hold 8.2. I don't think that I have anything to worry about.

That sounds reasonable. If a salt mix is close to the tank parameters, there's no issue. if it is well off the tank values, it is still reasonable, you just need to do more, smaller, changes.

AWC did cross my mind. I never understood why people do them. Then I learned about helping with coral warfare and now this. These advanced reefing tactics are starting to make sense.
