Personally, I prefer to feed a combination of PE mysis and frozen cyclops (4mysis:1cyclops). Make sure you cut all your pumps off while you are feeding (this can take up to an hour but don't fret, there should be more than enough dissolved oxygen to last that long). Also, make sure that you have cut your skimmer off before you cut pumps, and turn all pumps back on for a few minutes before you turn your skimmer back on; otherwise your skimmer will overfill the collection cup and all the work it has done removing skimmate will go right back into the water column.

Here's my colony, picture taken at the store when i picked it up about 6 months ago, now it covers the entire rock and is fluffy but has lost a lot of it's tie die and went more red :( any ideas if the colors will ever come back??
