Been a while since i've been on, got out of the hobby for almost 5 years. Reached out to my buddy and he brought up Waterbox and their great look and build quality. Turns out there was one in stock at my LFS they work at.

Bought a new home and had an empty wall, wife couldn't figure out what to do and it clicked and it just called for an epic fish tank.

Wall before finalizing renovation

Waiting on delivery of Lights and Pump to get this bad boy running, placing order for sand sometime this weekend.

Still looking for some rock for the aquascape, always the fun part.

Plumbing is ready, will be making some changes later miscalculated and pump intake is a bit close to the corner.

Looking to source some rocks now, will be going dry rock.

Sand and all apex equipment ordered just waiting for delivery.

What will be an interesting one to follow!! I wanted one of these; "had to" go with a Cade in stead because no Waterbox were stocked here in the UK! It does look good in this location! :)

Are you having issues with the doors, or haven't you quite gotten to adjustments yet as it is still dry?

Thanks, looking forward to getting this bad boy wet.

Yeah haven't even bothered, although its been bugging the heck out of me might just make the adjustments to the doors today.

I hate to be that guy but a 5', sub-140 gallon tank isn't going to cut it for a lot of those tangs you have on your wishlist.

Rocks sourced, time to aquascape and let the rocks cure wet.

Moment of truth, time to water test.

Inspector approves, no leaks and everything flowing well. Go figure amazing scape I made at the LFS wasn't possible to remake.

May make some modifications down the line, likely when rock is cured and I introduce the sand.

Can't say no when it's a good deal.... went shopping for a few new things.

Time to organize and setup the doser with Balance fir pH management. Currently manual dosing some prime to cure the rocks.

Rocks are curing nicely, will be testing no2, no3, amm to see how its going. Likely change out 5 gallons. Also will be finally setting up ro/di up.

Apex setup is great, have a few alarms set and its been fun learning to use.

Trident is online, great to finally see in action.

Also got my hands on a used RSK600 from my buddy, set up and ready to go. Had to get myself a skimmer stand working on proper placement.

Unfortunate, ORP probe that came with my Apex Pro was DOA.

Submitted warranty claim, will need to wait 2 weeks for tracking number, looks like big shortage atm.

Rocks are cured, refugium is ready with sand and mud. Sand is in and clearing up nicely!

Finally implemented some programming to the apex for feed cycles and return pump being off. Had a nice spill with protein skimmer turning on too fast when return pump turned back on

Completed first water change (n02, n03, and nh3/4 have been 0 for a bit) was fun mixing 20G using a a tiny 250gph pump, need some pump suggestions to mix.

Currently storing RO/DI in a 32G brute, transferring to 5G buckets to mix salt. Will need to lift brute bin, suffering once water level gets low in there to transfer to buckets.

Also did some minor rescaping, digging it so far!
