I borrowed a PAR meter, I have a red sea 250 g2 with two Red sea reef light 90w above. Has mostly lps some soft and some sps. have run the lamps at 42% intensity on blue and approx. 30% on white channel. I then discovered that my PAR values at the top at the sps were 80, 36 towards the bottom at my micromussa, and about 33 at the very bottom of the aquarium. Adjusted the light but in acclimatization mode to 57% on blue and 40% on white. then got 150 PAR in the water crust, 130 with sps at the top and about 60 with micromussa and 50 PAR at the very bottom. things thrived at lower par values, but had almost zero growth in the last 5 months, will higher PAR value, when within the tolerance of the corals be good for more growth?

Yes. In the same irradiation area, whichever can provide more Par is the one. Enough par grow corals. Watch this video
