I have been battling browning corals, STN, and RTN for last 3 months. I couldnt figure it out. Maybe its my lights. Some sps colonies are thriving. Others are dying. I even did a Triton water test. Everything checked out.

This morning i noticed on one of my Mili colonies a huge gash of death at the base. Either a fish had breakfast on it or i have a big problem on my hands. Other than AEFW, what else could it be? How can i know for sure?

Millie's are magnets for AEFW if they are in the tank. Look for clusters of eggs on the underside of corals were it is the least noticed. You might need a magnifying lens cause they are very small. Start with that then also look for red bugs which are more obiuos

Since that is not an Acropora but a Montipora, Red Bugs are not your issue. Montipora Eating Nudibrachs=MEN, and interceptor is of no use. Also look for Limpets and Asterina stars as well as Nudibranchs. Look late at night after the lights have been off for hours.
