I have a BRS carbon and GFO reactor. Can anyone tell me can I use Phosguard instead of GFO. I don’t have enough room in my sump to effectively use a mesh bag.

You can use it. It just can't tumble. I am not sure why you would want that over gfo since phosguard can add aluminum to the tank.

It does. I've measured it myself, including doing the ICP myself personally.

That does not mean it will always cause a problem. A small amount well rinsed before use may be fine.
