Update time!

The frag tank has been running great, except a bout of Bryopsis. Have been adding all sorts of frags and new additions to grow out.

Pics of some frags that have made their way into the tank.

Some frags of my Sour Apple Birdsnest

I've raised mag up to 1600 and it's been steady, but has only thinned the Bryopsis, I've been manually removing it each time I visit the tank. Luckily it comes off quite easily since it's mostly on the egg crate.

The outbreak, however, has prompted the next page in the frag tank's life... A refugium! Here's the pics of its installation.

A 15gal fuge will tie in nicely through here!

Nice. My new frag tank is a 40b, too! But I had to pay 10 bucks more at Petco's dollar/gallon sale. ;)

The bryopsis was on the plastic, or on coralline on the plastic?

It grows in between the eggcrate, the bare bottom, and on some frag plugs. I am getting decent coralline over all surfaces.

Thanks! The 40b was my first tank, so it's awesome to get back to those dimensions! Makes a perfect frag tank! Do you have a thread..??

Let there be light....and Macro!

I'll eventually get some more big pieces of rock to add in there.
